This page documents an official World of Goo Wiki policy.

This is a widely accepted standard that all users are expected to follow. When editing this page, please
ensure that your revision reflects consensus. If in doubt, consider discussing changes on the talk page.

The spoiler policy is set in place to help people avoid spoilers–a comment which discloses plot details of a book, play, video game, or film.

To help people avoid being spoiled, templates must be placed on pages that mark key plot elements. When readers see the following, they will know to avert their eyes if they do not wish to be spoiled.

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

This template (located at Template:Spoiler) indicates the the information that follows contains crucial plot details that may ruin the story of the game for the reader.

The templates are used mostly on chapter and level pages, as they may reveal what happens during the chapter, or upon completing a level. Even Goo pages sometimes contain spoilers. Eyeball Goo, for instance, are accredited in their article for being significant to the plot, and as such, have the spoiler templates included in the article.
