(Update)

World of Goo Wiki is a wiki designed to provide as much information about the Wii, PC, and Mac video game, World of Goo, as possible. Designed by 2D Boy, an independent game company, the game was nominated for the Design Innovation Award, Technical Excellence Award, and the Seumas McNally Grand Prize at the Independent Games Festival. It was released for the Wii's WiiWare in North America on October 13, 2008. On November 11, 2008, 2D Boy announced that World of Goo would be released for WiiWare in Europe, instead of a retail release. The game is based off of Kyle Gabler's prototype game, Tower of Goo.

Here at World of Goo Wiki, we aim to create the best resource for everything World of Goo related: from Goos to game development, we aim to create and expand upon it. If you are new and looking for places to start, considering checking out the wanted pages or try improving some of the article stubs.

History[]

World of Goo Wiki was started by Wikia user Baltro in November of 2008. Since then there have been 168 articles written, 552 files uploaded, and 1,611 total pages created. In August of 2014, the wiki was fully protected because of recurring vandal and spam edits, preventing any users besides administrators from editing articles. Naturally the project saw very little progress during this time. However, in August of the following year, the protection was lifted and editing rules changed so that the only users prevented from editing would be anonymous or IP users.
